COVID-19 and KFCU
As COVID-19 continues its spread, I and the staff are committed to serving the credit union’s membership as much as is allowed by conditions and government requirements. Should one or more employees become infected and the credit union be allowed to remain open, we will take measures that will enable us to continue to serve the membership but on a very reduced scale and limited basis to protect against further infection of staff and members.
Said measures will use technology to serve you remotely. Many of you have already availed yourselves of shared branching, online banking, and mobile banking (remote deposit capture), and realized their benefits. Those channels are always available for members. I strongly encourage those not already using online and mobile banking to enroll right away.
Additionally, we have made arrangements to work directly out of another credit union located close by for necessary in-branch transactions.
Please stay informed of conditions as they continue to develop by monitoring the latest pronouncements by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/), and State Department of Health (https://health.hawaii.gov/docd/advisories/novel-coronavirus-2019/).
For the time being, to protect you and the staff, we will service only KFCU members. KFCU will no longer process shared branching transactions for non-KFCU members. Should it become necessary, we will also reduce our business hours. Please stay tuned to our Web site, and Facebook and Instagram pages for further notice.
